i just know the girls treat my doggy wonderful here i used to take her to a different spot and she would be terrified to even go in and try to hide and here she does not even mind it one bit and she is always nicely trimmed and showered services are amazing and convenient

The best place to bring your babies they give each puppy there own love and care all the staff are wonderful you can always count on Kim the manager i couldn’t have chosen a better place to get my orus a groom and his frequent baths I been going for a very long time the bad reviews never give justice to the staff to all the people that write bad reviews why don’t you guys put your guys behavior in the review as well to justify why your membership gets cancelled or why you aren’t welcomed there lovely and 10/10 recommend them especially to first time owners they give really good advice on how to take care of them🤍

I’m leaving a 1-star review for Petbar Sugar Land due to repeated issues with the front office staff member Kim and how membership billing/appointments are handled.
I’ve been a member for a couple of years, but over the last few visits Kim’s behavior has not been a one-time bad day — it has been a pattern. Her tone is rude and unacceptable, and the way concerns are handled is not what I expect from a business I’ve supported for years.
The biggest issue is the lack of transparency and confirmation around membership bath charges. I receive texts to confirm appointments, but when it comes to counting/changing membership baths, they do not wait for confirmation. At the beginning of the month, my 5th bath was counted/charged because the first Tuesday of the month was treated as the 5th bath — even though my membership payment date is the 4th, so that Tuesday falls before my payment date. I was told I would be charged $35.
When I explained I was not aware of this, Kim’s response was dismissive: “this has been the case,” and I should “check my card,” followed by an unnecessary Netflix comparison. She also said they have “300 customers” and she’s not going to call customers to inform them.That response says everything: instead of helping clarify a confusing billing situation, the attitude was essentially “not our problem.” After that, she ended the call and canceled membership. Petbar should understand they’re not the only option in the area, and this experience made it clear that what looks like a “reasonable” membership comes with poor customer service, unclear communication, and billing practices that feel misleading.
To be clear, I’m not upset about a policy existing — I’m upset about the poor communication, the charge without proper confirmation, and the rude, defensive behavior when I tried to address it. Petbar membership does not mean their front office have free pass to be disrespectful.
I asked for the owners/management to contact me because this is a serious customer service issue. I’m still waiting, and customers are not provided a direct way to reach ownership.
If you’re considering Petbar Sugar Land, be aware: expect poor communication, surprise charges, and rude front desk service, based on my repeated experience.They need major improvement in both customer service and membership billing communication.

I usually take my dachshund to PetSmart but the service there has always been hit or miss. My girl is 15, a little senior citizen, and I always ask that they handle her gently. She’s usually nervous and shaky during grooming and often comes home covered in fur, which never made sense to me. The atmosphere always felt stressful, so I decided to try somewhere new.
I remembered seeing Petbar being built a while ago and decided to give it a shot. The staff at the front were welcoming, and the groomer, Chelsie, listened to how I wanted my dog’s coat trimmed. I dropped her off around 11:30, expecting the usual 2–3 hours like PetSmart by 12:05 they texted me saying she was ready. I actually called to make sure everything was done, and they confirmed it was. Even when I was delayed on my way back, they told me not to worry, they had made her a little bed to rest in while she waited.
When I walked in, I didn’t expect to see her tucked into a drawer lined with towels and covered up. She looked calm, cozy, and relaxed. That kind of care is rare. My senior girl can be anxious, but they went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe and comfortable. This experience was a 10 out of 10 from start to finish. I’ll definitely keep bringing my girl here for the rest of her days. Thank you, Petbar, for treating Whiskey with so much love and compassion! 💕🐾
