my parrot was in need of cholesterol medication which needed to be compounded. My vet sent the prescription over to Stokes pharmacy and they charged me $142!! for a prescription that I got for $27.86 at SVP. I couldn't even believe it. I will never use Stokes pharmacy again and now I've learned to shop around for prices. Not only were they cheaper, but they were fantastic with communicating with my vet to determine how to compound this medication. They went above and beyond what most people would have done because my vet is not exactly great at returning calls, but they didn't give up. They were able to get me this medication and for an awesome price too. I can't say enough about them. Great job folks!
