My normal PCP is on maternity leave so I saw a NP and she refused to refill my adhd meds, claiming they don't do that which isn't true. After a diagnosis from a psychiatrist, a PCP or a NP under a Dr. can refill medications. Shouldn't have been an issue considering my medication isn't even a stimulant.
Update: Upon receiving my doctor notes from this horrible visit, this NP states that my PCP here has not prescribed 1 of my meds before while she has and the bottle I currently have has her name on it. So....maybe this NP just has something against ADHD. Either way she was awful and I would highly recommend people find another provider.

I brought mom there and was seen by Dr. Penelope McClendon. She carefully explains things clearly and answers all our questions with patience and compassion. And the staff there made us felt welcomed. They are all very nice.

The receptionist said, (with a smile), “Unfortunately you have to reschedule because you’re 15 minutes late”… I replied, “I waited 2 minutes, and I always wait 20 minutes in examination room anyway.” I left furious…

I have been a patient of Dr. Hamme for over 5 years. She has always been very attentive, detailed and caring. She takes the time to listen to you and answers your questions. I understand that the office gets very busy and have I only encountered 1 instance were I could not get into office to be seen. Everything worked out and front desk did follow up with me. Everyone at the office has always been very nice, so I would definitely recommend Dr. Hamme.

I recently visited Spring Lone Star Health Service with my mom and sister for their appointments, and I decided to take the opportunity to get my annual check-up done as well. Initially, the team informed me that their schedule was fully booked, but they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Despite their busy day, they managed to fit me in, ensuring all my assessments, labs, routine checks, and even missing vaccinations were taken care of.
Dr. McLendon, along with Maria and Vanessa, provided exceptional care with professionalism and kindness. Gloria and Naila at the front desk were incredibly welcoming, patient, and respectful throughout the process. The entire team displayed a level of dedication and compassion that truly sets them apart.
Thank you to everyone at Spring Lone Star Health Service for your excellent care and for making what could have been a hectic day so smooth and pleasant. I highly recommend this amazing team to anyone looking for great healthcare services!

I am a foster parent and have had many last minute appointments that needed to be scheduled due to the states guidelines. Elsie has went above and beyond to squeeze me in even when there are no available appointments. Each time I go in, she greats me with a smiling face and is quick to help us. She is welcoming to my children as well.
I have floated between multiple providers and the therapist for different appointments with my children there and they all have been amazing. They helped educate my teenagers on how to be healthy and protect their own body, they have played with the infants to make them more comfortable, and they have taught me how to handle different situations I have been faced with.
Many organizations are not aware of the protocols for foster youth - however this office is and has made everything so much easier for me. They jump through all of the extra hoops put in place by the state and they never complain. I highly recommend the spring office.

I've been a patient at this location and Dr. Cristina Hamme is my Primary Care Doctor for more than 5 years, she is The Best doctor I've ever had. She cares about patient deeply and she goes above and beyond treating patients, I always feel comfort and peace whenever I see her. And the staff working there are always kind and greet you with smile. I highly recommend Dr. Hamme to be your primary care physician. Thank You Always, Dr. Hamme !
