I visited EyeScript Vision Care on the recommendation of a friend for new eye glasses and new contacts. Boy was I impressed by their service! While I was waiting to be seen, a staff member invited me to browse the frames. I usually have a hard time finding ones that fit my face shape and my low nose bridge. Plus, I have fairly bad eyesight which means I require thicker lenses. I was called in to get my eyes checked before I had the chance to finalize my decision. When I went to see Dr. Nguyen, she was very thorough and professional. I commented that my eyes have felt really dry recently, so wearing contacts has become uncomfortable. She was extremely patient in helping me find contacts that felt the most comfortable based on my new prescription. Once we were done with the examination, I returned to the lobby area. To my surprise, the staff member I initially spoke to had pulled a couple frames that fit my needs! Talk about first-class service! She helped me pick out a very fashionable frame and recommended the special lenses that are no-glare and scratch resistant—perfect for my lifestyle and since I work in an office and stare at the computer screen all day. Thank you, Dr. Nguyen and her team for a stellar visit!

As a patient who had Lasik fifteen years ago, I started wearing glasses again about four years ago due to regression. While I’ve had two eye exams since that time, I must say, I’m seeing much more clearly and more sharply than I ever had previously! In fact, I cannot recall when my vision was this sharp with glasses! Dr. Nguyen performs a very thorough eye exam. Her staff assists in the initial assessment and tests used to verify your eyes’ health. Once I was in Dr. Nguyen’s hands, she asked me a number of detailed questions about my work as it pertains to eye straining and tasks which can impede eye health. Typically, I’ve struggled when the eye doctor inquires about which test lens is more clear. Here, Dr. Nguyen would make the adjustments and confirm or deny the clarity I was purporting to see. She was patient and explained why I was likely seeing more or less clearly with the adjustments. I was also able to have my eyes dilated as part of my exam. At first I was reticent to do so, but now I highly recommend that one partakes in this aspect of the exam as it gives you a solid understanding of any existing and potential issues. Dr. Nguyen was able to confirm that my eyes are still healthy, and she had no on-going concerns. We discussed ways in which a healthier diet that focused on certain greens would be more beneficial, as well as methods for protecting my long-term vision health. As far as lenses and frames go, I love the selection offered at Eyescript! The staff is very well-informed as to face shapes and eye-frame technology. I selected a brand that was known for its lightweight and adaptive frame. If you're someone who predominantly wears glasses over contacts, I highly recommend going with the higher-end offerings as far as lenses and coatings are concerned.
