Long but very detailed!!!! Decided to do this review a little late because I am a graduating student of the school and I am currently a struggling esthetician! I attended during Covid, so everything was mostly online..you are 10000% teaching yourself!!! I only went to the school because it was affordable and they offered online classes.. I did not know that I was able to get “hands on” training until the very end when I was about to graduate. I only found out when I went in to make a payment in person and one of the nice ladies at the front said “oh we’ve been waiting to meet you”. Please save your time and money. I was very excited to join this school due to them offering online courses which allowed me to attend school online but you honestly are teaching yourself. When you are required to go once a week for hands-on practice, there is no teacher to guide you and we do the same things every time (facial or waxing). As an esthetician, you can do brows, lashes, waxing, facials and makeup. All we would do during class time was read the book together but never completed assignments together or go into depth with anything. I was enrolled for an Esthetician and finished my hours last year but still have not yet passed my exams. I never missed an email... read full review

In my experience this school is NOT it! This was the closes and “cheapest” school around me. I previously went to Houston training schools which was not the best but way better! The price was way higher but I had a teacher! DBC didn’t have an instructor for months! I went for the cosmetology operator online due to COVID. After a while i tried to go person since they had clases on Saturday and every time I went it was close, mind you I live in Cleveland so it’s a bit of a drive. Apparently they were in the process of moving to a different location and it was open every other Saturday. The only time I received any emails was to clock out (I’d forget a lot), to... read full review
