Excellent! Jess is very knowledgeable and highly trained and experienced in curly cuts. Most who say they cut curly hair do not understand that there is a huge difference in technique for curly cuts vs straight hair cuts. Jess does a proper dry cut and her lovely assistant is excellent with the wash and style (and curl education) — I’ve never before liked my curly hair when anyone else styled it! Don’t go to that place in The Heights (bad experience for me) … go see Jess!

Jess is just so talented and sweet! She really tries to understand your goals and works with you to make it more realistic towards your hair type. And it gets better… after she cuts/color your hair, Sallie will style your hair, showing all the steps along the way so you can try to get it as perfect as she gets every time ?.

I have curly hair that I’ve been blowing out for years and wanted to transition back to my curls so I booked an appointment with Jess for my first ever curly cut. She did an amazing job shaping each curl with the dry cut, and explained her process thoroughly and she gave me styling tips along the way. I left with the bounciest, softest curls! Highly recommend!
