Our pups have been going to A to Z Dog Ranch for over 7 years, and they always have an amazing experience! The owner is incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I reach out, and the entire staff is so thorough and attentive to each of our dogs’ needs while they’re boarded.

We have three dogs, all with very different personalities, and they truly cater to each one as if they were their own. I honestly can’t say enough great things about A to Z Dog Ranch - we trust them completely and wouldn’t go anywhere else! 🐾❤️

We highly recommend A-Z. We have left our dog for years at A-Z daycare and boarding. She loves it, is never stressed even if she stays for weeks at a time. They truly love and understand dogs.

Unfortunately, our dog was severely injured during our evaluation this past weekend and sustained a significant puncture wound. My husband observed some concerning behavior from the team while they were loading our injured dog into her crate, which has led us to believe they were aware of the injury but chose not to inform us.

We are deeply disappointed by the lack of communication and transparency. This incident could have been addressed with basic respect and courtesy, but instead, it was ignored. Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable leaving any of our animals in their care. Please be cautious if you are considering doing so.

After over a year of searching for a place to board my (then) puppy, a rambunctious golden with lots of energy, I was recommended this facility by a trusted acquaintance. I cannot recommend A to Z enough! Their staff is attentive, affectionate, and on top of each dog's specific needs. I feel like they really took the time to get to know Finn, his preferences and quirks, and made a special bond with him. Wendee is extremely communicative and accommodating, and Chloe has been a wonderful addition to Finn's home-away-from-home family, and is easily one of his favorite people. Grooming is not my specialty, so I'm glad to know he'll always come home cleaner and fluffier than when I dropped him off. My work schedule demands travel and a lot of changes to that travel, and the staff is 100% responsive to any changes or last minute requests that need to be made. Finn is more excited for my trips than I am! Thank you, A to Z, for taking such good care of my guy.

A to Z Dog Ranch went above and beyond to take care of my senior Great Dane. She ended up having GI issues that required a lot of extra care and attention. They did everything they could to make her stay safe and enjoyable. They had great communication during her stay with 'pupdates'. The facility is very nice and well run. It has tons of outdoor space for the dogs to run around and socialize. I highly recommend them.

    Outstanding Dog Boarding Experience!
I cannot recommend this dog boarding facility enough! From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place prioritizes the happiness and well-being of every pup they care for. The facility offers tons of room for dogs to run, play, and socialize—it's like a doggy paradise! Whether your pup loves group playtime or just exploring open spaces, this facility has plenty of options to ensure they stay active and engaged.
The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can feel the passion they have for animals in the way they interact with the dogs and address every question or concern with genuine care. The owner is a true expert—having years of hands-on experience in the industry and an impressive understanding of different dog breeds and their unique behaviors. It's comforting to know your furry friend is in such capable hands.
The peace of mind that comes from leaving your dog at a place that combines professionalism, compassion, and experience is invaluable. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving environment for their dog. Your pup will come home happy and well taken care of!

I've been a loyal customer of A to Z Dog Ranch for a long time, but my recent experiences have been incredibly disappointing. The owner spoke to me in a rude and aggressive tone over a simple issue that could have been resolved professionally. Her claim she has given "many free things," is unfounded. She once changed my dog's food without my approval, then charged me for it, that wasn't free, and then left a voicemail calling my dog by the wrong name. How can she claim to know my dog's history if she doesn't even know her name? My suggestions get your story straight before calling. Unfortunately, I've heard similar complaints in the community and they have moved their business elsewhere due to her, the owner, Wendee, disrespectful behavior, which seems to be a pattern. In my opinion, there are other companies that provide better service, more flexible pick-up and drop-off times, and a kinder approach. I can now book flights that fit my budget and choose a care provider that values me and my pet. It's clear there are more affordable and reliable options out there for your best friends, and I'm relieved to no longer deal with the unprofessionalism at A to Z Dog Ranch. Happy trails!

My dogs had been to A to Z for almost 3 years and we had good experiences until now. We took about a year break (2023-24) from the ranch shortly after we moved and our doggy daycare needs changed but recently found ourselves needing boarding. Due to our past experiences, I went back to A to Z for daycare and boarding. I requested 2 weeks of daycare prior to boarding, all scheduled roughly a month in advance due to the high volume holiday consideration and updated the pet portal with their care instructions and vaccine records. The trail boss Charlotte trimmed down my daycare request considerably sighting the need for evaluation for group placement prior to allowing more daycare days and boarding. While I understand the need for evaluation, this reduction in daycare days didn’t make sense to me but I trusted the staff, agreed and moved forward with the proposed plan.

The boarding experience this time was horrible for one of my dogs. When he was having soft stools, the staff opted to switch his diet to a prescription dog food that he does not have a prescription for nor was he evaluated by a vet to confirm this food was ok for him. All this was done without one phone call/email/text to me to discuss the change in care. The staff completely ignored his diet instructions present in the pet portal, disregarded the food and supplements supplied and pre-packaged by me and aggravated an already stressed dog. All of this resulted in explosive diarrhea the following morning after the food change, so much so that he was transported to an emergency vet hospital. In addition to this insult, he was transported to an emergency clinic over 30 minutes away from the dog ranch, a decision that I’m sure further exacerbated his stress and explosive diarrhea. A facility that boards dogs and occasionally needs emergency vet services should be aware of local facilities available nearby.

What I find the most troubling is this practice of changing food abruptly without contacting the owner first. The simple gesture of reaching out to me would have afforded me the opportunity to make a better care decision for my dog, like having my emergency person pick him up. The blatant disregard of my dog’s specific dietary needs in an attempt to “sure things up” is absolutely unacceptable and negligent. While my dog had experienced this diet change before at A to Z, this was over a year ago and I distinctly remember him having several days of ongoing diarrhea at home. That prior incident over a year ago prompted us to change his diet to a limited, grain-free, single protein diet for food sensitivity.

I highly encourage A to Z to make the following practice changes:
    1. Read the information provided to you in the pet portal.
    2. At least make an attempt to reach owners before making care changes.
    3. Train all staff on best care practices that are evidence based regarding caring for and boarding animals.

I fully expect to see a response from the owner blaming me and/or my dog for what happened, that was the initial response I received when I discussed this in person. I do feel that the dog ranch is fully responsible for what happened to my dog but it has been made abundantly clear that they have no intention of accepting responsibility even though the owner admitted she would not have changed his food if she was aware of the food sensitivity. The fact is that ALL staff should have been aware because the information was provided in the pet portal. Additionally, I have several emails between us over the years specifically stating my dog’s diet needs and food sensitivity. In the very least, I hope by sharing my experience, A to Z Dog Ranch will work to improve their practices to prevent this from happening to another family.

We’ve been taking our two big dogs Bodie and Oakley to A to Z for a couple of years now and cannot say enough good things about this place. They truly care for our pups, it’s a home away from home and our dogs get so excited when we pull down the road to the ranch. Our one dog Oakley isn’t a huge fan of playing with other dogs and they’ve done a great job at integrating her with dog groups that are in a similar boat. We highly recommend A to Z to anyone looking to board or have day care for their pup!

When we went to pick up our pups, they ran right past us and straight to the owner of this business instead! We viewed this as a great sign of comfort and confidence in the treatment they received. The grounds here are lovely, a really fantastic place for your pups to run around as they came back to us tired and happy. They do require a day camp trial or two just to make sure your pup will do well in your absence and can flow with the pack plan....such a great idea! Can't say enough great things about this professional team...BRAVO!
