They have a presentation several times a day with a live alligator which is very informative and interactive. Kids can go up and pet the alligator after the presentation. Plan at least an hour or two here as they have long walkways to look at the birds and alligators, they also have sea turtles here. The kids can go up and pet the sea turtles also.

I was blown away by the view from the 3rd story of the observation area as well as the sheer amount of boardwalk! It kept going & going, and there were places to sit in the shade while viewing a marvelous assortment of birds I'd never seen before. I also enjoyed seeing the resued aligators.

Sorry birds, but the alligators are the hit. Our alligator talk person was excellent!!! Very knowledgeable! Then you go outside to see the alligators and tortoises. Birds were minimal along the boardwalk but maybe it was the time of year.
