Place was real nice and quiet. Me and my friends had a nice time; We even got to meet an artist who took time outta his day to explain what some of his painting meant and how he created some (Jimi Keirn) he was real sweet and polite will be sure to take pictures next time.

So happy to find this place! It is a gallery with local artists work displayed!We took a class with Jimi Keirn and it was so much fun! If you want a break from the sun you must consider attending an art class!

Amazing experience! Took a watercolor painting class with no art experience, and I had so much fun. Ryan was awesome! Honestly, such a great teacher and incredibly funny. I would love to take another class next time I'm in the area.

From Art Business Incubator South Padre Island

Our mission is to support the growth of art culture in our community in a way that is sustainable. ABI SPI (pronounced “abbey”, SPI) sets out to “incubate” artists who have the desire to establish themselves as professional artists on South Padre Island. Every year, five artists are accepted into the ABI SPI program. During this time, these emerging art-related entrepreneurs are granted access to their own studio space and gallery space, along with many other invaluable resources. The newly-renovated ABISPI space provides a comfortable and supportive learning environment for the in-resident artists to create, sell, and share their creativity with the public.
