I was impressed with Chris Nicholson and his knowledge of fireplaces. He was honest in his assessment of our chimney and pointed out dangers associated with brick mortar loss, which our 50-year-old chimney has, as well as the thoroughly inadequate construction of our see-through fireplace, which was an afterthought of a previous owner. After discussing several options, it was clear our best move was to purchase an insert that will be much more efficient while being asthetically pleasing in appearance. The technician, Chris, was professional, & made sure to protect my flooring & surrounding areas with plastic to keep ash from getting everywhere! I ended up ordering a gas fireplace insert from his company, as I wanted a more efficient way of supplemental heat for my home!
