From the first moment I called I knew Home Instead was for my family. The kindness that each employee has shown us sets them apart and the caretakers who love on my mom each day are a blessing. They made the hard situation of an aging parent not merely manageable but hopeful.
I do not recall how long my father used Home Instead. however his caregiver was always so sweet and caring. She also made sure the company reached out to me when he got gravely ill while she was there. He was already mostly bedbound and hadn't walked in a couple of days. Without her reaching out he would have passed alone and in pain. Her reaching out let me convince him to go to the ER and he passed in hospital after being inpatient for the next 4 months. He got to pass medicated and better cared for than he could have and was doing himself.
I work for Home Instead in Sherman and I absolutely love my job!!!! It's a great feeling knowing you are caring for someones loved ones that need a little bit of help with everyday things.
