My daughter & I broke down on I 10 N.just south of Columbus. It was after 8 pm & it would be dark soon. I was truly concerned for our safety because my hazard lights weren't even working. There was road construction and only one lane was open. I even asked for help from the "police" escorting the work crew but no one had flares or was able to help us. Ricky, the owner of this business, saved me!! I was traveling from Brenham to Rockport, Texas--moving across the state with a car full of my belongings. On a rural highway, a dog ran out and we collided head-on at 70 mph and my car was eventually deemed a total loss.I contacted the Sheriff's Department right away and they told me, after checking on me, that if I needed help to call them and they'd recommend someone.
