I booked a 6pm appointment on a Monday because I work late and that was the only time I could make it. It was going to be my first time visiting this shop since I recently moved to the Crandall area and was hoping to make this my regular barber shop.
When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the shop was completely closed. No call, no text, nothing. I understand things happen, but don’t accept appointments if nobody is going to be there.
I decided to let it go and just look for another barber. But later on, I stopped by the panadería next door to quickly grab tortillas while pulling a trailer. The parking lot setup made it difficult to maneuver because I didn’t realize there wasn’t another outlet, so I parked in front for literally a couple minutes. There were only a few cars in the lot, yet someone from the barber shop came outside and immediately gave me a hard time instead of being understanding.
First impression was bad, second interaction was worse. Definitely not the welcoming neighborhood business experience I expected.

Took 3 of my little brothers with Tuna after looking for months 🫠 the staff was great and my siblings loved the haircuts! Even though I live far the drive is so worth it. Thank you to Tuna the owner definitely loves his job and provides a great service

Bad experience the man who cut my 2 year old sons hair was super rude, even was rude to my 3 year old daughter.
The cut was super ugly had to go pay to have it fixed. And it cost me 40$

Im typically not one to leave a review, much less be confrontational, but man was my son’s haircut experience SO unpleasant. I picked Alex because his bio on the appointment page said he “specializes in kids cuts“… but we started off the appointment inhaling the smell of cigarettes.. not sure if he had JUST smoked, but if he did, why? If you know you have a kids cut appt coming in? Then the cut starts.. I mention I wanted a low fade on each side of my son’s hair, and the fade ended up almost on top of his head. (Okay I may be exaggerating a bit, but it was definitely HIGH.) Then once we get to the other side of my son’s head for the fade, it’s only partially faded. THEN, we get to trim the top/back of his hair, and it almost seems as if he had kitchen scissors cutting it in a circle around his forehead — and by this I mean the cut was very choppy. I’m no barber by ANY means.. but I’ve seen my son get his hair cut plenty enough to know that’s not how you do a trim. In fear of chopping off too much hair, I did not say anything. I would prefer to go somewhere that can actually fix the trim how it should’ve been to begin with.
Editing to add: As a barber who “specializes in kids haircuts” you should most definitely not be getting upset or frustrated when a kid moves. And much less be pushing a TWO year olds chin up forcefully when he’s been cooperating and still for the majority of the cut. If you did not feel comfortable or up to doing the haircut of a toddler, you should have spoken up.

Titian did an amazing beard shape up and trim for me this morning. Bro even hit my shoulder with the massage gun not knowing I am in PT for 2 injuries. He just connected with the client!! I will be back! Thanks T!

Employee Titian Edwards gave me one of if not the best haircuts I’ve ever received. Never have I had so many compliments. Not only was it a great haircut, but also great conversation. Overall this place is exactly what you want a barbershop experience to be.
