I have been a patient of Whelmed Schertz location for approximately five years. The front desk office employees have provided exceptional assistance. The last time I was there the desk staff person welcomed me and wanted to remember my name without my providing it. The lab techs were wonderful and always on time no waiting. Every doctor I have seen were the best including the following...Dr. Lim, Dr. Aung, Dr. Guzman as well as PA Brady Harrison. I have never had to wait.....the office is emacuatly clean and such a good experience I look forward to labs and doctor visit next month. Please accept my 5 Star review gladly given.
I had a follow up appointment. The people are so helpful. The only negative is that when you call in you are in a phone bank. I have been transferred multiple times and still not put through to my Well Med. They say they will send an email for them to contact me.?
Doctor's office itself is "ok", but the handling of referrals is completely inept. I switched to a much less expensive insurance plan- with the trade-off being that I now needed referrals to see specialists. I thought this was ok, but sadly the referral process at WellMed is off the charts bad. Took me 4 weeks for one referral to get done, and that was after 5 calls I had to place myself to the office and my insurance company. On the next try, 3 weeks have gone by, and I never got the referral so had to pay full price at the specialist as I really needed the appointment and could not afford to reschedule again- for a much later date.
