I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I waited approximately 30 minutes before being called back, only to then be told I could not be seen because my pain was related to a car accident.
Before scheduling, I reviewed the office website, which states that they treat patients involved in car accidents. During my appointment, I explained that I do not currently have an attorney, but my insurance company is handling the claim through a lien arrangement and the office would still be paid for services provided.
Despite explaining this multiple times, I was told that the main doctor prefers not to see patients involved in car accidents unless they have a lawyer. This requirement is not mentioned anywhere on the website or during scheduling, which resulted in me wasting both my time and the appointment slot.
I also asked to speak directly with the manager for clarification, but I was told she was unavailable to speak with me, even though the staff members were able to go speak with her privately regarding the situation.
To make matters more frustrating, I was then told that if I still wanted to continue the appointment, it would need to be entirely self-pay, despite already explaining that the claim was being handled through insurance and that payment would still be issued through the lien process.
If this office has a policy requiring patients involved in car accidents to have legal representation or to pay out of pocket without an attorney involved, that information should be made clear before appointments are scheduled so patients do not waste their time coming in unnecessarily.

I have been a Patient of Dr Manuel Ybarra for 9 years. He is very caring, great bedside manner, listens, and develops a good rapport with his patience and staff. I feel very lucky to have such a Great Pain Specialist Dr taking care of me. In 2018, I had 4 levels of Spinal Fusion in my neck. It has been Allot!! I Highly Reccomend this Shertz location i am going to and I have been to Stone Oak location as well. I have been to both locations for one going pain treatment. Dr Ybarra,was my Dr at Advanced Spine, Neck a couple years before he left on his own to Releviimed. Thanks, for taking the time to read my post. Keep your Neck and Back in shape, we only have 1...!!

This place is a mess. Rude staff and appointments are jacked up. Still waiting to be seen after 1 1/2 hours. Will update with actual time seen (see below). Music is inappropriately loud for a clinic setting and the choice is not appropriate for a professional clinic.
***Update - Finally taken back into treatment room at 11:45am. Appointment was at 10:10am, arrived @ 10 am, exactly one hour forty five mins later called into treatment room, and treatment took 10 minutes. How is that acceptable?

Have never dealt with such a totally incompetent staff in my life. Made an appointment and saw Al since I could not see the doctor. Gave them all the paperwork they needed from a previous doctor. He said they would get a plan and be in touch in a few days. Over the last two weeks, I never heard anything from them so I called several times.. No one answers the phone. You have to leave a voicemail. Not one voicemail ever returned. This place is an absolute joke. Totally no customer service and incompetent people.

Dr Ibarra cares. He hires good staff. They care. Well I’m updating ! Dr Ibarra has figured out my pain and did the MILD procedure and I’ve just gotten better and better. Very happy
