“I have to give a huge shoutout to Caitlin at Headz Up Haircuts. I brought my son in for his first haircut with her, and it was honestly perfect. She’s incredibly talented at managing toddlers while giving a great haircut. That alone deserved a five-star review, and all the staff are additionally super cool with booking and generally being friendly, which is more and more rare these days. With that said, I don’t usually do reviews.

Today, I brought my son in for his second cut with her. Everything went great as expected, and we were both thrilled with the result. But once we got home, I started thinking his bangs were a bit longer than I’d planned, so I decided to trim them a little (cue car-crash screech and glass breaking sound). I have no idea what I was thinking, but in less than seven seconds, I completely ruined his haircut by hacking off a massive piece of his bangs.

Panicked, I called the shop, and they said we could come back in. My wife took him in this evening, and Caitlin saved the day a second time. She didn’t charge anything for the fix, which was incredibly generous. Not only was this a huge relief on a personal level, since I was the one who messed up, but it also blew me away how she was able to restore the cut and make it look perfect again.

Long story short, this was an amazing experience, and I will be recommending Headz Up Haircuts and Caitlin to everyone I can locally. This is what sets local businesses apart from chains, and I want to support that as much as possible. Also, I’ve learned my lesson, I will never think I’m a barber again and trust the professionals!“

“Elizabeth is an absolute rockstar, truly.My 3 year old son detests haircuts and she made it an amazing experience regardless of his crying and screaming, i was embarrassed but she calmed me down and told me even though its though shes a kids stylist for a reason because she loves it, although he was screaming and all during the cut, as soon as we left he was happy and smiling and saying how much he loved it. I may live three hours away but i think from now on Elizabeth is my go to girl.Ive always felt nervous taking him in especially because of the fits but now i feel more confident in taking him to this location and to this stylist soley because of how well we where treated.
