Spincity Washateria, a busy laundromat in San Marcos, provides a practical solution for those needing washing and drying services. The facility features a variety of front-loading machines, with different sizes and prices from $2.50 to $9.25 for 8 loads. The dryers start at 25 cents and go up to $2.50, but they can take a while to dry clothes completely. Customers can pay using coins or the washateria’s card, which can be recharged with $5, $10, or $20. It is recommended to bring your own detergent, as it can be expensive there. The staff is friendly, though some customers feel the floors and bathrooms could be kept cleaner, especially on busy weekends. Parking is ample, and the entrances and exits are convenient. Overall, the experience is generally okay, with some noting that machines may be temporarily out of order and dryers can take time. Customers appreciate the efficiency and atmosphere of the place, making laundry less of a chore.
Seems like a decent place. Lots of available washer/dryers. Clean. Not sketchy feeling. I was concerned because I saw a $20 charge on my card after I did 2 wash loads but then I saw a sign saying you're charged $20 and then what is not used will be refunded. I'll wait a few days to make sure that charge is adjusted and if it's not I'll be changing this review. My suggestion would be try to use cash because then what you're paying will be more straight forward.
Plenty of machines and they have a laundry service that includes folding and sorting. Inside is a check cashing service where they are usually quite helpful. Overall good experience and definitely will be doing business there in the future. Keep up the good work!
Not bad for when u need a laundromat in a pinch. Not sketchy thankfully. Nice peeps. Beware of quarters eating quarters lol but they're just quarters. Yes they have an ATM. Dryers do take forever tho. To reiterate: Not bad. It's okay ??
