After training at my previous Martial Arts dojang for 4 years an incident occurred causing me and my son to leave. After some research and an intro class, we have found our new family, and honestly it's been the silver lining in all of this. I wasn't sure what to expect walking through that door after everything that had happened at my previous dojang — and it was amazing to be welcomed without hesitation, met exactly where I was, and immediately felt the difference between a place that performs martial arts culture and one that actually lives it.

I've been training martial arts for years at another school, attended classes at several academies around the country, went on weeklong martial arts retreats, and hit quite a few seminars along the way — so I have a decent frame of reference.
