Vision Source! Dr. Raul Trevino is highly regarded for his thorough explanations and dedication to finding the best fit for patients' vision needs, whether it's contacts or glasses. Patients appreciate his courteous staff and their willingness to help with various situations. However, some patients have expressed dissatisfaction with the optical services. They've reported issues with improperly fitted glasses, despite paying for scratch-resistant lenses that have subsequently become scratched. Dr. Trevino is very personable and I feel that he truly cares about each patient! My family and I've been going to him for 10 years now! I truly feel like he cares about each patient and he has great staff also.
Ive been going to Dr. Trevino for over 2oyrs! Hes really good and his staff are very nice. If your looking for an opthomalogist go see Dr. Trevino!!
Big into giving Kudos where needed. I went in, upset because LensCrafters had called me for my glasses, they were not the lens that I ordered, and the only thing the rep said was, well that’s what we ordered, so I kindly got my order refunded and left. Came VisionSource after calling ahead because of Covid, and the lady who helped was awesome from the second we met. Immidately got my insurance plan pulled up so i knew what to look at. Then I went to look at frames. Not sure on what to buy, I asked where the bigger frames are because I have a big head. She walked me through selections, even as much as giving me her opinion on what looked good or not, which I appreciated because I had lots of uncertainty. Then we sat down to go over the lens, and boy she Upsold me. I would’ve bought most of it anyways but she explained it well, gave examples and even asked what was my primary focus with my glasses. Great customer service! I then told her, I don’t like thick lens and she said”they might be slightly thicker than what you’re use to but let’s get the polish that will make them clear, not frosted for a better look, I was sold. Kept telling her about my experience at LensCrafters on how how the lenses were the thickest I have ever had or seen. She kept looking at my current glasses and ask to borrow them as she walked away. Came back and said”you are at a -5.25 and the RX is -9.25... that’s a big jump, I’m going to call you doctor and verify. So she did. And come to find out, it was -5.25, the writing was just bad. She made my experience so pleasant that I think I’ll come here for now on. In network or out. I’m not sure her name but you are welcomed to reach out because she had made me a customer for life!
