About Vision Source Alamo Heights
Vision Source Alamo Heights offers exceptional eye care services in a warm and friendly atmosphere. From the moment patients walk in, the staff is attentive, professional, and welcoming, making them feel valued and cared for. The optometrists are knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, taking the time to listen to concerns and answer questions. Dr. Zapata is particularly praised for her expertise and ability to explain everything clearly, while Dr. Fair is noted for her professionalism and care during examinations. Both utilize advanced technology and equipment to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments of eye health. The billing receptionist is also proactive, informing patients about rebates and discounts, which adds to a positive experience. While there have been some reported issues with staff behavior on the optical side, the optometry side continues to deliver good prescriptions and care. The clean and comfortable waiting area contributes to a calming environment, making Vision Source Alamo Heights a recommended choice for those seeking high-quality eye care and a wide range of eyewear options. Overall, it is a place where patients can expect to receive top-notch care and leave feeling satisfied.
I am so thankful for Joe and Dereck and the way they delivered such amazing customer service, going way beyond what I expected by finding the needed part to repair my husband’s glasses on short notice! I highly recommend both Joe and Dereck as outstanding members of the team at Vision Source Alamo Heights!
Thanks to the staff and Dr. Turner for another thorough eye exam. Very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Mari for her help and patience in helping me select new frames.
I ordered contacts yesterday and was told it would be 7-10 days for them to come in. As I was almost out of contacts and my new glasses have not come in (3 week wait), I asked for a packet of trial lenses to hold me over. I was given five contacts lenses. I have two eyes. What exactly am I suppose to do with the fifth lens? Wear an eye patch?
