Based on the reviews, UT Health Shavano has an amazing staff and wonderful providers who are caring and comforting. The doctors, including Dr. Patel, Dr. Kohatsu, Dr. Bolfing, and PA Navarro, are knowledgeable and listen carefully to concerns. They take time to involve patients in medical decisions and have a heart of gold. The office staff is super nice, friendly, and professional. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. Sometimes there is a wait, but the care received is beyond worth it. The office has a lab on site, making it very easy and convenient to get blood work done without driving to another facility. There is rarely a wait to be called into the treatment room. The practice manager even chips in to help with a smile, showing teamwork at its best. Overall, UT Health Shavano provides great experiences and is highly recommended.
Admittedly haven’t been to a primary physician in close to 10 years as specialists for other issues were who I started seeing. My mom goes to Dr Kohatsu (name spelled wrong I am sure) but I recently went here last week. Love the doctor, office staff is super nice, and was able to get blood work done in the office…very easy and convenient. Dr was very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Just have to make it known that my care team Dr. Pratik Patel is so wonderful and listens to you and has helped me tremendously with any questions or issues that arise and has a Heart of Gold.
I have been a patient at this location for several years. My PCP, Brandon Bolfing, is an excellent provider and always takes the time to listen carefully to my concerns, makes sure that I am up to date on preventative care and involves me in medical decisions. Whenever I send a message on My Chart, his assistant Janet, always responds promptly and follows up on my requests. When I have called for an appointment and Dr. Bolfing was not available, I have been booked with Dr. Kohatsu, Dr, Patel, or PA Navarro and all have been great.
