I want to start this review with a sincere thank you to the team at Sanchin. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I enrolled my child at 8 years old into the program. In my opinion, he was very young to actually learn anything meaningful that could really help him in the way of self defense. As the years went by he learned a lot of foundational lessons that helped to develop him for the harder classes. What I didn’t expect was the character development that I seen over the years. During the past two years, I have been training Japanese Jiu-Jitsu under the instruction of Sensei Eduardo De La Garza. I had always wanted to do some form of martial arts, but never got around to it. What kept me away from training martial arts and more specifically Jiu-Jitsu, was that most places seemed competition based and I had heard a lot of stories about serious injuries.
