On my way back from California on a road trip. Started having what I thought was stomach pain. The next morning in las cruces I realized it was more than just that. I had appendicitis! Drove the 10 hours to get to Methodist hospital in Westover hills. Not more than 2 hours from check in I was in the OR with probably the best surgical team I’ve ever had the pleasure of going under the knife. The surgeon was one of the best I’ve ever encountered and I was in the medical field. This team made me relaxed and I felt as if everything was going to go perfectly, and it did. Thank you to everyone at Methodist hospital and to that surgical team and the best surgeon in my opinion!!
