Went in to browse and planned to make a purchase, but was met with what I could best describe as cold politeness. No desire to engage with me despite being the only customer in the store, asking questions felt like pulling teeth and was met with 1-2 word curt answers. Why buy from a store that doesn't want to sell?
I’ve been meaning to drop in here for years, and finally today I did. The owners (husband & wife) were very kind and he spent some time with me teaching me a little bit about the coins that I brought in to get his thoughts on. The depth of knowledge that Mr. Rufer has is amazing; the guy knows more about coins than I know about darn near anything! I can’t wait to come back with my kids to introduce them to the treasures here, oh and to show them the coins, too.
My husband and I took our son to collect quarters for his state coin book we got off Amazon and we had a pleasant experience. The elderly couple was extremely sweet to our son , very patient and helpful. We plan on coming back by Halloween.
