They made a mistake on my tax return for failing to ask me to provide a 1098 and they are trying to charge me for an amendment. I understand mistakes happen. We all make mistakes because we are human. This one star review is in response to how they chose to respond to their error. They keep insisting on charging me even though they admitted that they assumed they didn’t need my 1098.

Run! Very expensive and they don't do anything! I have six companies and four of the six were completely demolished after Roger Ray handled them. He never gives me deductions, when clearly I deserve deductions and have all the proof. Mr. Ray is very demeaning of women, which really irritates me. I'm looking for a new C.P.A. currently. If you don't like wasting your time or wasting your money, RUN in the opposite direction!

AVOID - Bait and switch: I scheduled an appointment to discuss a very specific tax issue, looking for someone to guide me through it and then handle my future taxes. I met with "Roger Ray", who claimed to understand my issue and instructed me how to move forward. I provided all requested documents, sent a follow-up email, and heard NOTHING for weeks. After Roger forwarded my case to the real accountants in the office, they provided an entirely different strategy/instructions for my issue. I had no choice but to close my case with Ray CPA and pay for their BS consultation. Thanks for wasting my time and money.
