I met Drs Will and Kevin at a ‘Best Form’ clinic at iRun, and was so impressed with their knowledge and expertise with runners, injuries and gait training that I signed up for their run assessment. Worth every penny ! After just one discovery session we found my weaknesses and I received some homework exercises. My next running race I shaved off 2 min on my 5 km time ! And even better I feel more balanced and efficient. I am a Masters runner and biathlete who competed internationally until a traumatic injury required surgery and a long recovery. I am so thankful I found Olmos Park to aid my return to sport.
Originally I went in for a run analysis while actively trying to heal from a knee injury. Dr. Will was upfront and honest and suggested therapy first. Which in my heart of hearts I knew I needed. I have been nothing but impressed by both Dr. Will and Dr. Kevin. Although I might despise their exercises and loath doing them, they have gotten me back to running. I am a work in progress and so grateful for their knowledge and understanding. In January I could not walk without pain, could hardly bend my knee. On March 3rd I crossed the finish line of the Alamo half marathon with a smile on my face all thanks to these two amazing men.
Dr. Gonzaba has fitted several of my bikes - and, man, does it make a difference! Most recently, I brought in my cyclocross/gravel bike, which had really felt terrible. My wrists, shoulders and hips all hurt riding it. In the first few minutes of my first ride after his fit, it felt 1000 times better. Not only do I feel more comfortable on the bike, but I feel more powerful. Thank you, Dr. G!
