The Somalian nightmare and his girlfriend frequent the 281 & Bitters area businesses looking for 5 finger discounts. They either live in the local apartments or they’re homeless. Beware if they approach you.

Took my car to North Star Animal Hospital for a health certificate in preparation for an upcoming move. Our nurse Elizabeth was very thorough, professional and kind in preparing the documents. Dr. Pittman and the rest of the staff were all very compassionate and caring!!!

I’ve used this clinic for years and justified the higher prices because I believed the care matched the cost. Not anymore. My last visit made it clear that important things were not explained, and services I expected were not actually performed.
**The different staff who answer the phone also seem jaded and consistently unfriendly, which makes everything even worse.
This was the final straw. I won’t be returning, and others should be aware of the declining quality before choosing this clinic.

We have always had an exceptional experience with the kind receptionists, techs & Dr. Meyer/Dr. Ramsey. Would highly recommend bringing your fur babies here! Cost is very reasonable compared to other places.

I've had nothing but great experiences with NSAH. I was recommended to go here for my new pup and have made several visits since May. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. Dr. Youssef is very kind and I really enjoy seeing Elizabeth, when we go. She's so informative and caring. Far from where I live, but so worth it!

Saved our dogs life! Went there to get an ultrasound because another vet had told us our dogs liver was super swollen. They found that our dogs gall bladder was huge and rushed him into surgery. They moved their whole Saturday schedule around to make sure he got his surgery within the hour! They made sure to take great care of him after the surgery as well!!!!

Dr. Youssef, Dr. Pittman and the entire staff At Northstar Animal Hospital are phenomenal! They gave my cat “Lucy” the most amazing, wonderful care. They cared for my girl as if she was their own. They have the expertise, skills, knowledge and more importantly, I believe they truly love the pets that are in their care. And, not only the pets but the family as well. I can never repay them for how they took My Lucy and I under their wings. I pray blessings over Dr. Youssef, Dr.Pittman and the entire Staff.

This is my first time here. I meant to go to another place but ended up here... I got the names confused! Well I'm glad I ended up here because it's a great place. The people are so friendly! And they're so professional! The doctor is very friendly and efficient. He certainly knows what he's doing! Same goes for the assistants. They are pros and know how to handle cats. One thing I love is that I was allowed to be in the room. The last couple times, at other veterinarians, my cat was whisked away and I had no idea what they were doing with him. I loved being able to comfort my cat while he was being examined, etc. in summary, I would certainly recommend North Star! 😊

Staff was really friendly & Vet office was clean. But leaving 2 stars because my dog was improperly diagnosed with a mammary gland tumor, it ended up being terminal lymphoma. I opted to get her “mammary gland tumor” removed 2 weeks prior, spent over 1.9K dollars. 2 weeks later went to get her stitches taken out & they took her to the back to get them taken out, then came back to let me know she had stage III mastasis lymphoma that already spread through her lymph nodes & that she only had a few months to live. I wish they would’ve diagnosed her correctly so I could’ve went with another option before spending that money on the surgery, and could’ve possibly spent it on another treatment for her. ):
