About Medcare Associates of Stone Oak/ Phyllis
Medcare Associates of Stone Oak is a medical practice that provides high-quality healthcare services. Patients praise the professionalism and care of the entire staff, from administrative staff to doctors. The doctors, including Dr. Jafaar, are described as caring and taking the time to discuss patients' concerns. The practice also offers wellness plans and strategies, and has connections with other doctors in the network. However, some patients experience long wait times and difficulties with follow-up appointments. Despite this, the majority of patients have a positive experience and praise the friendly, helpful, and kind staff. One patient, in particular, was blown away by the excellent service and has decided to make Medcare Associates their primary care location, despite it not being conveniently located.
This medical office demonstrates an alarming level of disorganization and disregard for patients. After being placed on hold for more than 8 minutes, I was finally connected—only to be told rudely, “Give me one second,” before being put back on hold again.
For six months, I have been attempting to obtain a patient’s medical records without success. Despite repeated calls and follow-ups, this office has failed to fulfill a basic legal and ethical obligation. This pattern of behavior reflects poorly on both the staff and Dr. Saleh Jaafar, whose oversight appears nonexistent.
Dr. Crespo is wonderful. No complaints for him or his nurse. Unfortunately the office staff and anyone that answers the phone are rude and not compassionate. You will be left on hold for a long time, they cut you off when you are trying to speak, and they will even hang up on you when they are done talking. Again, no complaints for Dr. Crespo.
I have been a patient of Dr. Gloria Ocampo, endocrinologist, for the last four years. She is kind and knowledgeable. She has also shown me great concern and care. I highly recommend her, her staff and the lab.
