LA Fitness provides a great value with a wide range of amenities, including state-of-the-art equipment, basketball, group fitness classes, a pool, and saunas. The gym has plenty of equipment, so members don’t have to wait long. Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, offering excellent assistance. Shane greets members with a smile and is always available to answer questions about memberships. Personal Trainer-Racer has received praise for targeting specific areas during workouts, helping clients achieve more than they could on their own. However, some members feel the facility is in need of updates. Many machines are older and rusty, with some showing signs of neglect, like "Scheduled for Maintenance" signs that have been up for nearly a year. Despite the concerns about crowded benches and equipment maintenance, LA Fitness remains a welcoming place for workouts, with a variety of exercise and pool classes that many enjoy.
It’s fine for the most part. The main thing bad is that 99% of the time at night the trash can in the men’s locker room is full of used paper towels. Another thing, one time I came out of the locker room just before closing and there were two tracks of water along the way to the exit, for about 70 feet as if someone had a wet mop in each hand and was dragging them. I told the receptionist that it was dangerous and should not happen. If it happens for some reason they should put signs alerting to ‘wet floor.’
