I’ve been going to Dominion Crossing since 2019, originally with my family’s dogs Bentley and Porter, and now with my own 4 fur babies (Atlas, Ruby, Crow, & Umber). I’m a huge animal lover and try to be really well versed in veterinary care so that my pets get the best care possible. Dr. Shaw and the whole team have been nothing but the absolute best to work with and have helped with Atlas’ many a problem. He has had three surgeries (neuter, lump removal, cancer removal), multiple biopsies, a multitude of issues with a cough, and finally excessive itchiness that needed intervention. The other three animals miraculously have no issues 🫠. They have helped us through each problem and been very informative of different treatment options and very transparent with pricing. They’ve also been so helpful dealing with our pet insurance! I’m breathing fine now because less than 24 hours after his first Cytopoint injection and he is itch free 🥺❤🐾 thank you!!

From the ladies at the reception desk, to the vet tech's, to the amazing Dr. Shaw, Dominion Crossing is absolutely the very best Veterinary Hospital for your fur babies! Our golden retriever, Charley, is always excited to see everyone when he comes in! Our senior kitty, Max, is always treated so lovingly. They are the best!

I needed a new vet and I’m so glad I found them. Everyone is so thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. I have a senior English bulldog so having a good vet is extremely important to me. Dr.Armstrong clearly is passionate about the care she provides. She helped my girl improve her itchiness tremendously after years of allergy issues! Highly recommend!

Domination Crossing provided caring service to our cat's injured paw. They were transparent with the cost prior to treatment methods, which brought more ease. We were pleased with the outcome. Our Willow has healed nicely. Much appreciation!

BEST VET EXPERIENCE — AMAZING FOR DENTAL ISSUES If I could give Dominion Crossing Veterinary Hospital a million stars, I would. Dr. Armstrong is an incredible veterinarian who specializes in dental issues and tooth extractions, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her and her team. This place genuinely answered our prayers, and I could not be more grateful.
I live in Chicago with my 12.5-year-old dachshund, but I’m originally from San Antonio. He began having nosebleeds, and two different vets in Chicago immediately told us he likely had cancer — without doing any testing first. We were sent on a stressful and expensive chase trying to schedule diagnostic imaging, and were even given a euthanasia quality-of-life packet because we did not have enough money to immediately pursue possible radiation treatment.
I brought my dog home to Texas and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Armstrong. To my surprise, there are really only a couple of vets in the city who specialize in dentistry and dental-related issues, Dr. Armstrong being one of them. From the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible. Great availability, no long waits, an amazing staff, and Dr. Armstrong herself is truly out of this world. She takes the time to thoroughly explain what is going on, educate pet owners, and walk through her clinical reasoning in a way that is thoughtful, logical, and compassionate. She explained that they could perform labs and x-rays in-house that same day at a very reasonable price, instead of sending us all over the place for testing. Based on how severe my dog’s dental disease was, she believed his symptoms (nosebleeds) were actually related to his teeth — and the lab work and x-rays later confirmed that suspicion.
We were able to get him scheduled for surgery just TWO days later, which was incredible given how urgent and emotional the situation felt. Her team took amazing care of him throughout the process and gave us consistent updates during surgery. Most importantly, Dr. Armstrong was able to confirm that my dog did NOT have a tumor in his nasal cavity. Instead, he had fistulas between infected teeth and his nasal cavity, which she repaired during surgery.
I genuinely believe this experience was somewhat of a miracle. Dr. Armstrong and her amazing team not only improved my dog’s quality of life, but very possibly saved it in more ways than one. He is now back to being a happy boy and I hope my family can continue to enjoy him for more years to come. There truly are no words to describe how grateful I am. Overall, this is an incredible veterinary hospital, and I cannot recommend it enough. Dr. Armstrong genuinely cares about the pets she treats, and I know my dog is in the absolute best hands with Dominion Crossing Veterinary Hospital.

Armstrong is the doctor This place keeps me stress relief They follow up with your old vet and collects all documents of your vet in one place and keeps it streamlined for you. Whether it’s your pet’s vaccine reports or your pets last checkup at other vets. They got you all covered. Great place.

Great service! They take really good care of your pets and are very thorough in their exams. We brought our dog in because he was looking very lethargic. They did a chest x-ray and then sent us to the ER-en route they called to let us know he had pneumonia-saved us from doing more tests at the ER.

Our three furry children have been with Dominion Vet for the last 4-5 years. They have always gone above and beyond for our routine puppy-dog needs, serving as a perfect home base for our dogs; an easy 5 star review. Yesterday Dominion vet’s resources and capability was tested beyond what I ever thought possible. My golden doodle (RUTHIE) was violently attacked by another much larger dog, resulting in massive blood loss from bites to her neck. She had little time and was bleeding profusely despite my family efforts at holding pressure. We live nearby, however the 1 mile trek felt like an eternity. Dominion vet was called and alerted of my family’s arrival and frantic state. Upon pulling into the parking lot, the team was ready and waiting in the parking to recover a blood soaked and actively bleeding nearly lifeless Ruthie. The entire team’s response was TV worthy and honestly unexpected from our neighborhood primary care. “CLEAR A TABLE!” Was yelled out from parking lot upon entering the clinic. Doctor Armstrong and Dr. Shaw were immediately on scene and began shouting out orders while also initiating emergent hemorrhage control, volume replacement through immediate IV access, obtaining STAT labs, all while simultaneously coordinating transfer to Mission Vet ER and offering reassurance to my panic-stricken mother. This is the “take over” feeling we all need during times of absolute helplessness. Ruthie needed blood and needed it fast. An employee whose animal was a universal blood donor was called for standby in case Ruthie was delayed in her transfer. Literally cannot believe he selflessness of these people! Upon acceptance and coordination of transfer to Mission Vet, the team saw how distraught my mother was and loaded Ruthie up ( without any question or hesitation) in the facility administrators van and transferred Ruthie themselves to Mission Vet with IV’s running. Ruthie rode accompanied with staff and my mother following. Both Mission vet and Dr Armstrong and Dr Shaw were in constant contact with one another, relaying information to myself and my wife about Ruth’s progress. Upon arrival Ruthie received the blood she needed and responded better than expected, giving her some improved prognosis at life. Her condition remains guarded however she remains in the fight only because of the quick response and expertise of Dominion Vet. My wife and I both work in emergency medicine. This would be considered a perfectly executed code and coordinated transfer to a higher level of care. An absolute perfect combination of professionalism, expertise, leadership, and genuine compassion. We are very great full for your care. A 5 star review simply does not capture the amazing level of care that was provided.
