I cannot say enough good things about Charlie and Discount Air! Charlie returned my call within minutes of my leaving a message requesting a quote for services. He was transparent about how he charges for his work, he showed up on time (early even), was professional and friendly and completed the job quickly. My AC units are on the roof of my business (which I cannot access easily) and Charlie took photos of both units and the work he was doing. As a woman, service men often try to upsell services/products and assume that we will not know the difference, however Charlie was honest about the services my AC needed and the timing of future services. Discount Air is a life saver! My A/C had been out for 2 days before I was able to find someone to come and fix it. They were easy to work with and I am very happy with the results -- and more importantly, my A/C works! I would 100% recommend working with them.

Thought we needed an entirely new A/C unit to reduce the noise of the inside motor/furnace. Charlie came promptly, less than 24 hrs. of calling the company, to assess our A/C needs. He determined that our A/C unit was not any nosier than other typical units (Payne, by Carrier) and that it wouldn't be worth the money to change out any part of our A/C system which was working fine as a replacement would likely be just as noisy. He also explained to us the advantages of a variable-speed motor but cautioned us that in all likelihood, this would not reduce the noise which is most likely caused by the location of our inside unit - in the dining room between the den and... read full review
