The Dance Center of San Antonio is a haven for dancers of all ages and skill levels. The school offers a variety of programs, including pre-professional training, recreational dance, and classes for teens and adults. The center's programs have helped students develop not only technique and finesse, but also self-esteem and leadership skills. One reviewer's child has been dancing at the center since age 4 and has thrived under the guidance of instructors like Mrs. Bessler. The school has also produced successful performances with CBSA, such as the Nutcracker and Cinderella. While one reviewer had a negative experience with the front desk staff, the classes themselves were enjoyable.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dance Center of San Antonio! Their studio is centrally located near North Star Mall, making it convenient for us. Over the past two years, my daughter has grown tremendously, not only as a dancer but also in confidence and discipline. As a parent of a Type 1 diabetic child, it means everything to have a studio that truly cares. The staff is incredibly supportive, attentive, and well-trained in working with students of all ages and individual needs. They create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. As a homeschool family, we especially value the strong sense of community the studio provides. My daughter has built a beautiful sisterhood and lifelong friendships that go far beyond the classroom. Their annual Nutcracker performance is absolutely amazing and such a professional, high-quality production. They also offer musical theatre productions twice a year, which gives students wonderful opportunities to grow as performers. My daughter is already so excited for her role in Don Quixote this summer! The summer intensives are another highlight, students learn so much from both guest teachers and the talented current faculty. The level of training, dedication, and passion at this studio truly sets them apart. We are beyond grateful to be part of the Dance Center of San Antonio family and highly recommend them to any family looking for exceptional dance training in a supportive and inspiring environment.
My daughter has been dancing for 12 years, and has progressed so much this year at the Dance Center of San Antonio. She loves all of the teachers there, especially Vanessa Bessler. She also loves The Children's Ballet of San Antonio, which is also led by Vanessa Bessler. She did the Nutcracker with them at Christmas and loved the quality of performance, professionalism, and the excellent costuming for the show. Her favorite thing is the feedback and encouragement each student receives to help him or her become the best dancer they can be. As her mom, I have to give a shout out to the amazing Erica in the front office. She is astonishingly helpful and always cheerful and encouraging.
Amazing teachers - talented and so kind, especially to beginner adults like me! An incredible studio. I can see myself taking classes here for a long time to come!
