Children’s Ballet of San Antonio provides such an incredible experience for young dancers. Their productions give students the opportunity to perform on major stages like the Lila Cockrell Theatre and the Majestic Theatre, giving them a real professional theater experience. It’s been so special watching my ballerina grow in confidence and stage presence. The performance opportunities and training here are truly exceptional — highly recommend for any serious young dancer!

Such a BEAUTIFUL and memorable performance of Sleeping Beauty at the Majestic Theatre! I loved all the details, song choice, the effort put into the entire production. The inclusivity of children was such a touching moment. The patience of the other dancers was heartwarming when they needed to assist a couple of the younger ones without causing disruption or distraction. We really enjoyed this performer. Especially the tulips scene. Everything was like being inside of a fairy tale.

This is a great place to put your child in. It is a place where the child does not have the worry about a parent telling them to pay attention or if they need to do better because parents are restricted to the lobby which allows the child to have growth in the development of the child. No one can just walk in without being let in, which keeps me at peace and mind for my child's safety. I highly recommend this place for a great experience.

As a former dancer and currently an avid patron of the arts, I am always in awe at the high quality performances from this dance company. They can rival any professional company in any city. The director is talented and visionary. She incorporates local cultures into classic pieces, while keeping true to the essence of the original works. And I love the way she is inclusive of all identities, especially children living with disabilities. These children are treated with love and respect and made to feel just as important as the other dancers. Their roles and costumes are designed to their needs, and they receive loving respect from the other dancers. What a profound way to embrace all.

Discriminated against my great niece with a disability. Think all kids should be treated equally and not isolated from other children .

We have been with CBSA for years and they has been a wonderful and very supportive group of people to me and my two children, both whom have a disability. They go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and my kids as well. Every year I ask my kids if they want to participate, and they always tell me yes. They always ask when will they be back. Being deaf myself, they make sure I understand what’s going on and make sure I have good seating at their shows with an interpreter provided. All without my request. I’ll always appreciate them for all that they do.
