Better Days Barbershop is a traditional barbershop in San Antonio on St. Mary’s Street, specializing in classic haircuts, fades, tapers, beard trims, and straight-razor shaves. The experienced barbers deliver precision grooming and quality work with great attention to detail in a relaxed, old-school atmosphere. The shop has really cool vibes and is super welcoming. It is a great place for any haircut, where the barbers are awesome, very chill, and easy to talk to. They are patient and make everyone feel comfortable. The shop is in a good spot with easy parking. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are always honored.
Stopped by Better Days Barber Shop while passing through town, but unfortunately I was too late and they were already closed. To be fair, it was after hours. Even so, I had to peek inside and holy smokes—the atmosphere and aesthetics are incredible. You can tell a lot of thought and attention to detail went into creating the space. If the shop looks this good when it’s closed, I can only imagine the experience when the chairs are full and the clippers are running. Definitely making this a priority stop the next time I’m in town. Looking forward to getting a cut and experiencing Better Days for real!
I flew in from Atlanta and came straight here. Heron was my barber and he did such a great job! Everyone was so friendly and the shop was very clean. If I lived here I’d absolutely make this spot my go-to barbershop!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Herron for the past 4 years, and he’s not only an amazing barber but also a great friend. He’s always professional, welcoming, and consistently delivers a great cut every time.
