What truly makes this gym special is the owner & coaches. They are great people and understand the limitations some people have. They always give a good list of options/recommendations for people who struggle with certain movements/lifts and never judge when you need to use less weight or fewer reps.
Love this gym. Best experience at a crossfit gym. Sabrina is super knowledgeable, approachable and the best gym owner. She cares about each of her members. Each of the coaches are well versed in crossfit and engaging during wods. (I've been to a gym where the coaches would sit on a box and read the wod verbatim off the chalkboard) but not here. Here at ballistic they really strive for you to be better and help correct your form when needed. I love it here.
I’ve been a member for almost 10 years now. I initially joined because it was the only gym close to my place of work that would allow me to drop in for an open workout. I stayed because of the excellent coaches that genuinely care about all athletes at every level and the welcoming members that made me feel included right away. Ballistic has been my ‘safe place’ ever since - when I’m having a bad day it’s the one place I know I can go where I’ll feel supported and loved.
