Claims to support diversity, equity, and inclusion yet ignored complaints about their homophobic employee. I complained about how one of their vets handled our dogs illness and how he was cold during euthanasia so their doctor attempted to get us black listed from all Juneau vets (other vets I never even met contacted me to warn us… that’s on living in a small town). Feel free to Google search AmeriVets vet Sam Smith of Tongass in Juneau and you will see hate speech towards women as well. Ps - email below where a straight man tries to co-opt a slur that he has no right to use.

Would not recommend “partnering” with this company. They do not value experienced employees and manipulate veterinarians in negotiations for employment in order to execute power plays within the practice intended to push out the original owner.

The work environment is very warm and welcoming. It is definitely a one-of-a kind corporation. I can always count on employees to help me with anything I may need. Highly recommend this company!
