Took my puppy in at nine weeks for her first exam since I got her also she had been having a little bit of on and off diarrhea and that was a concern. The counter staff was delightful. The tech that took her vitals was fine. The moment the doctor walked into the room and started talking she was immediately offputting and her whole vibe was just super negative and doom and gloom. Not a smile just big frowns and sighing like it was bad news. She immediately started in with asking how much she was vomiting, and when was the last time she vomited. I had already filled out the online paperwork, saying she was not vomiting. And told the tech that she was not vomiting. She didn’t listen to me when I was talking and talked over me and seemed to have an agenda of worst case scenario inferring that she thought my dog had Parvo. I was trying to explain she had eaten a large chew bone and possibly that may have upset her stomach and caused the diarrhea, but the doctor kept talking over me about blockages and imaging and I said I didn’t say anything about blockages. I’m just saying it may have upset her stomach. She said the food I had her on was bad because it was grain free. It is not grain free. It’s chicken and rice and there is also barley in the ingredients. I understand there was a legitimate reason for concerns but the presentation matters also. Some of the information she was giving me may have been good but her bedside manner ruined it for me. Went to another vet two days later got a negative Parvo test and everything was great.

I've been bringing my dogs here for years, and I honestly can't recommend this team enough. They've never once shied away from my more aggressive dogs, patiently working with each animal's temperament rather than turning them away. That level of skill and understanding is so hard to find.

What truly sets them apart is how they handle the hard moments. Every time one of my animals has passed, they've sent me a handwritten condolence card. It's a small gesture that means the world when you're grieving. They're not just excellent vets — they're genuinely kind people. Beyond grateful for the care they've given my pack over the years.

This place is very professional and kindly with your fur pet. Highly recommended prices are reasonable.

AMAZING experience. I needed to take my cat Phoebe because she was sneezing like crazy & wanted to make sure she was okay. From the moment I walked in, the front staff was so kind! Everyone was so kind. Dr. Mims is so informative and so nice! This my first time coming here & it is truly a great place. There is a reason this vet is highly rated!
