Marcia is very friendly and loves to talk, and she told me all about her family, family antiques, her RV loving friend, etc at our mandatory introductory $200 meeting to drop off the tax planner I filled out. I don't own a business. It cost over $3000 to do my taxes. Every brief phone call and text is charged. I found another CPA who looked over my documents and 2022 return that Marcia did and said it was very basic. My new CPA said she could do my 2023 taxes for around $275. I learned a lot.

My experience in life is that there are at least 2 sides to everything and some people just don't mesh well. Fortunately, we have lots of choices in this life. Having said that, I always take reviews lightly. I will consider what I read, then make my own decisions. Being a recent widow, I was already in a brain fog but I knew I needed help with my finances.
