—they need a place where they can truly be themselves. That's exactly what Sandy Oaks Kennels/ Daycare has been for my almost one-year-old Labrador Blue Lacy, Lacey Grace. Lacey Grace has enough energy to rival a hurricane, and because we live in a 32-foot RV, she doesn't have much room to run and play. I wanted to give her more than four walls. I wanted her to have joy, freedom, friends, and the chance to just be a dog. Since taking her to SandyOaks Kennels , I've watched her excitement grow every time we pull into the driveway. Her tail starts wagging before we even get out of the car! She gets to run, play with other furry friends, and swim—one of her absolute favorite things. She comes home happy, exhausted, and completely content, and as her mom, there is no greater feeling than knowing she had the best day ever. Knowing Lacey Grace is in a place where she's loved, cared for, and treated like family gives me such peace of mind. It's obvious the staff genuinely love what they do and truly care about every dog in their care. If you're looking for a daycare or boarding facility where your dog will be safe, loved, and have the time of their life, I wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you for giving my sweet Lacey Grace a place where she can run, play, swim, and simply be the joyful dog she was meant to be. It means more than words can express.

I had the worst experience with Sandy Oaks Kennel. I boarded my dog here for two weeks and was extremely disappointed with the care he received.
Throughout his stay, I called every few days to check in because I was not receiving the promised “report cards.” Each time, I was reassured that he was doing great and was even described as a “great role model” for other dogs. It wasn’t until I picked him up that I learned he had been isolated and not socialized a single time during his entire stay.
We have an energetic dog, not an aggressive one, and I feel his behavior was misread rather than properly managed or worked with.
They also advertise a pond for dogs to play in. While I ultimately was not charged for this add-on, it was disappointing to learn it was “closed” during his stay, especially since it is promoted as a feature of their facility.
What makes this even more frustrating is that prior to boarding, I paid for a full day “temperament test.” That day was also a complete waste of time and money, he was not socialized then either, which defeats the entire purpose of the test.
Overall, there was a serious lack of transparency and follow-through. I trusted this kennel with my dog and feel misled about the services provided. I would not recommend Sandy Oaks Kennel to anyone looking for honest communication or proper handling of high-energy dogs.

Great place to drop of your dog and let them play off the leash and play in a pond with a sandy beach

I LOVE this kennel and day Spaw 😊. We are new to Texas and they came highly recommended. They made me feel at ease leaving my dog with them for mini daycare and then for overnight boarding. He’s ALWAYS happy when I pick him up and then exhausted when I get him home. He loves it here ❤️.

Be aware of the fact that the dogs are not monitured . My dog recently was attacked on a thursday. The next day I talked personnally with the manager Kirsten promiseed my dog would not be put with the same grouop. i picked him up that afternoon. He had been mauled. required surgery and stuchers to wo different areas. punctures and scratches all over his body. They didn't enven bother to contact me when it happened. Also be well aware of their kennal polocy . Dogs are let up to 14 hrs in thier kennal without anyone on site. I will never take my dog there again. For Sandy Oaks its about the money not the care of the animals . my contact 830 237 4471
