“We did practice test and DPS test for both of our kids at the Roanoke location. We also did lessons for one of them. The team is fantastic and did a great job, even with our very reluctant driver. Driving instructors were very personable and the owners were amazing trying to help us with some last minute paperwork challenges before one of the kids tested.“

I took my daughter there for her driving test, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The young man at the front desk was friendly, professional, and helped us get all the paperwork taken care of. Then the driving instructor even offered to let my daughter use one of the school’s cars instead of my truck since it’s pretty big and would make parallel parking a lot more difficult. That was such a thoughtful gesture and really helped put her at ease.
From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. It’s not often you come across customer service like this anymore.

I only wish this place had been around 25 years ago when I took my own driving test! 😂“

We scheduled our daughter for her drivers test here. Scheduling was super easy, they had lots of openings. Unfortunately, she didn’t pass the first time, but we scheduled for the very next day and she passed!

We took my older daughter to a DPS location several years ago and I think that location was far easier to drive. I’m thankful for the test that was given by Community Driving School because it gave us many more opportunities for testing/learning. It was rough after we didn’t pass, but my daughter was very nervous, and there were a few things that we studied again before the second test. It makes me feel better as a mother now that she’s had this experience and understands that there are repercussions to choices we make when driving. I can say that I actually have more peace of mind about her being alone in a car now.

The office was clean and bright and Grace, at the front desk, was sweet and very helpful. Our instructor, Makenzie was kind and had a warm sense about her. I’ve heard nightmares about strict, or cold instructors. I know they have to be serious and not show reaction, chitchat or comment during the test, but my daughter and I felt like her pleasant demeanor made the situation less intense. I definitely recommend Community Driving School.“

It was good to see and play with the capabilities of our HD vehicles so we have an idea of what can happen during an emergency. It was a good team building activity as well!“
