“I had to make a heart wrenching decision to have a stray dog we took in, put down. We found that she had Heart Worms and required eye surgery and had become aggressive and protective of me. I talked with Dr. Gohlke and her Vet Tech. The decision was made to Euthanize her, as we would not be able to rehome her with her aggression. When we made the decision it was overwhelming and upsetting, Dr Gohlke and her Tech. Asked if they could pray with me. As a Christian I had never heard of a Veterinarian praying with the client in their grief. That prayer and the compassion these two Ladies showed me was the comfort and peace I needed. I will always cherish the caring and compassion of Dr. Gohlke and the staff .“
