Went there for an ultrasound, results were to be sent to urologist in Victoria, arrived for urologist visit only to be told that the ultrasound was burned onto a cd, and they were unable to be transferred electronically. Had to go back to Port Lavaca hospital to pick up a physical copy of the results and hand deliver them to urologist in Victoria, at no point did anyone from the hospital indicate that this would be necessary. After I completed the ultrasound, a person called me with the results, but couldn’t answer my questions, so I googled it. That person had been reading a diagnosis straight from google. My confidence in the local hospital is very low.

I want to give a shout out to Dr. Elthridge the er doctor. Out of 5 visits to two different hospitals and several visits to primary doctor, Dr. Ethridge is the one that took the time and stayed by my husband's side. This dr. Is the one that found the problem and talked to hospital, now my husband is getting the treatment he needs and addressing the problems head on. First doctor that actually smiled. I just wanted to personally thank each and everyone of the staff of the surgical team and the director. You are amazing. And the nurses were a dream. After 2 attempts at a tubal litigation. The 3rd time was a charm. Not because of the hospital. They did everything in their power to take care of me. They made sure I knew I was safe and made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be going back to them for any procedure/surgery. Thank you again for everything.
