I had an appointment to get lab work for 7:30am. Got a reminder text about my appointment, I showed up at 7:20 and looked up on the directory where the lab was since it didn’t say on the text what suite the lab was in, sometimes they move suites. Saw that the lab was in suite 145 and when I arrived the lights were off and it had a paper on their window that their hours changed to 8:00am. So I waited around for them to open. Other patients showed up between 7:30 and 8:00, so there was a line of about 5 of us by the time they finally opened up. Once we started to check in at the kiosk the lady made an announcement that if we had an appointment we needed to be elsewhere. A man asked “Where are we were even supposed to go?” She was a bit snippy and said, “go back to your doctor.” I was confused about the whole thing, since we were told the lab, so I asked, “We need to go to where our doctor is to have the bloodwork done?” And she replied “yes, if you have an appointment you need to go check in at your doctor’s office.” So went up and checked in with the doctor’s office and then had to wait 30 more minutes since technically I missed my appointment time since I was waiting downstairs at the other lab area; now had to wait in a line with even more patients. So, waited a total a hour and 10 minutes because the instructions on where to go to have bloodwork was not clear. As I mentioned before there were other patients that were waiting for bloodwork in the “wrong” lab area as well, so there is apparently a huge miscommunication on where the patients should be going for “appointment bloodwork.”

Also, the lady in suite 145 really needs to not have a snippy attitude with patients, ESPECIALLY since she literally JUST got there. Like there was a whole handful of people who were waiting for 20+ minutes just to be told if we had an appointment we needed to go to our doctor’s. No one was rude or even had an attitude about having waited around for all that time, just to be told to go somewhere else so she could definitely be a lot nicer. I’d hate to see what her attitude is like when she’s been at work for a few hours if she’s already snippy first thing in the morning. If she’s annoyed that patients are showing up for bloodwork in the wrong area, she needs to take it up with all the doctor’s offices that aren’t being clear that there is a separate lab area to go to for appointments. Many of us didn’t know there was an appointment lab area upstairs. I’ve lab work several times throughout the years and I never had to checked into my doctor’s office to have bloodwork done. It’s always been at the actual lab.

Review is not for the doctors, it’s for the downstairs lab in 145. If you book through your doctor make sure to clarify if you should be getting your labs done there OR upstairs - every appointment i’ve had previously has been in that lab so not sure if this is new or what. The staff in the separate lab downstairs are absolutely miserable to interact with, actually glad for the mix up so I don’t have to continue going there. Make sure to confirm when scheduling what suite you need to be in because none of the handful of us waiting got that instruction.

$400 FLU TEST! Run away from this place unless you enjoy dealing with a living nightmare which is their billing department. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a medical provider. Their billing department will NEVER call you back. If you have a billing issue you must log EVERY interaction on their portal. Essentially they billed my insurance $400 for a flu test (billing admitted that cash pay is $100 for the same test). My insurance paid $200 and then I must pay an additional $200 because making 100% profit for this place is simply not enough. They refuse to allow me to cash pay for that test. Oh and the appointment for said flu test took nearly 3 HOURS in office. After telling this practice multiple times I am no longer a patient they keep scheduling appointments for me without contacting me first. I AM NO LONGER YOUR PATIENT!

I will NEVER trust this practice again. There are much better providers out there who truly care about their patients.
