I had a very concerning experience at Pigtails & Crewcuts and feel obligated to share it for other parents.
During my son’s haircut, the stylist scratched him badly enough that it left a visible mark from behind his ear to his forehead. He was visibly upset, and instead of acknowledging what happened or checking on him, the stylist denied causing it. At that point we left.
What’s even more frustrating is the lack of follow-up. We emailed the location on Saturday asking to speak with a manager, and as of Monday afternoon, we have not received any response.
Accidents can happen, but how they’re handled matters. In this case, there was no accountability in the moment and no communication afterward. That’s not acceptable, especially for a business that works with children.
I would strongly encourage other parents to consider this before booking here.
