After years of putting it off, I finally got my impacted wisdom teeth removed on November 6th — and I did it AWAKE like a total champ 💪🏼

If you know me, you know how long I’ve been searching for the right oral surgeon. I went to several offices over the years — most charged crazy consultation fees and honestly left me feeling more confused and hopeless than before. One even told me it’d “probably be best to just leave them in” because of potential nerve damage… without even doing a CBCT scan! 😳

Then this past August, I found North Texas Dental Surgery and scheduled a consult with Dr. Han — and from the very start, I knew I was in the best hands. The entire consultation (X-rays, CBCT, and all) was completely complimentary — yes, free! — and Dr. Han took the time to explain everything in detail with so much confidence and kindness.

The whole office deserves all the love — from the sweet front desk team to the amazing nurses and of course Dr. Han himself. Everyone made me feel so comfortable, which is saying a lot for someone who gets super anxious about this stuff.

My case wasn’t an easy one (one tooth was even near a nerve!), but Dr. Han removed them so smoothly and skillfully. I truly believe God placed this incredible surgeon in my path, and I’m beyond grateful. 🙏🏼

I’m currently on day 4 of recovery, rocking my best chipmunk look 🐿️ but feeling thankful I can still feel my lips, chin, and tongue — praise Jesus and thank you Dr. Han!! 🙌🏼

39 days away from receiving my final prosthesis and all I can say is "Wow!". My elected procedure is the removal of all remaining teeth and preparation for "All on four". Here is an account of my experience so far. Having had initial consultation with my primary care dental office with a traveling periodontist was a challenge indeed, to cut this story short, the service offered was sub par and thousands $'s more than Dr. Choi. Having spent countless hours Googling and YouTubing, Dr. Choi's somewhat exhausting video's were captivating. Here was a very knowledgeable Dental Physician that did not come across as a Prima Donna in a field crawling with quick fixes and $99 down $99 a month finance plans. From the initial contact, to consultation to surgery, everyone was super friendly, almost nauseatingly friendly and professional at every point. Dr Choi answered all my questions, allayed my fears and earned my trust which prepared me for what the entire procedure will be. Dr. Choi's practice in McKinney (where my surgery was performed) is a state of the art facility with more than sufficient support staff. Dr. Choi' services are competitive for this procedure and what sets him apart from his cohorts in this industry is that there will be no surprises. My initial consult to scheduling exceeded the guaranteed estimate validity time due to the fact that I required surgery for a torn rotator cuff and detached bicep tendon and was advised by my surgeon to postpone my dental work, Dr Choi gracefully extended this validity period. Today (04-12-2023) I will have my temporary prosthetics fitted of which although being in mild discomfort, am looking forward to.
