They are incredibly supportive and truly recognize the unique potential in each child, understanding that every student is different. Kurt and Linda work with each dancer to push their limits while nurturing their distinct strengths. My daughters have grown tremendously in both skill and confidence under their expert guidance. We truly and deeply love Hathaway Academy of Ballet. My daughter has been learning with the academy from past 8 years and it has been a deeply rewarding experience for her. The skills, discipline, and passion for dance that she has developed under the instruction of Ms. Linda, Mr. Kirt and the amazing teachers have been truly remarkable. My daughter Lily has spent many wonderful years at Hathaway Academy. The teachers are first class and the concentration on technique is impeccable. Not only has Lily learnt technique, but also has a healthy respect for her teachers, the art of ballet, and the discipline needed to excel. She just loves every teacher she has had there and being cast in the Nutcracker each year has been truly magical. If you are looking for a school that cares about the training of your child then look no further than Linda and Kirt Hathaway... you wont ever regret it!

I took at Hathaway for a little under 4 years. Before taking lessons here, I had no idea what I was doing. I was 12 years old at the time and was severely behind. I loved ballet, though, and I wanted to catch up to my age level desperately. All my teachers (Kurt, Linda Brown, and Micki Saba primarily) took me in and worked hard on me. By the time I left, I was in the top modern class and company, and I was barely behind in ballet. I left to pursue musical theatre, and because of their training, I was cast in top dancing roles in many productions. No one could tell I had only taken dance for 4 years prior to entering college. All that to say, at Hathaway they are honest and great teachers who see and work with potential, no matter how difficult it may be. They never gave up on me, and I am forever grateful for that. We are currently thinking about putting our daughter in with Hathaway when she turns 3 because of my wonderful experience here… she loves ballet❤️
