I was allowed to drop in and had some great rolls during an open mat. Members were welcoming and shared their knowledge. If I am ever in the area, I will definitely make make my way to cobra bjj.

Don’t let the name fool you. This is not Cobra Kai. I had the unexpected pleasure to visit this authentic Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy recently and had a pleasant surprise. They had an open mat the was welcoming and a challenging. What was most impressive was to see how top level grapplers worked with those with less experience with patience and professionalism. Overall, I would encourage anybody who’s looking to get into Brazilian Jiujitsu in the Plano area to check this out. You will get top level education, with a culture that is very welcoming and professional.

Hello everyoneCobra jujitsu is one of the gyms that have the authenticity of the sport and the qualities that other gyms don’t. It has been god and destiny that put me in this wonderful place. The instructors are beyond professionals and the people that attend are welcoming and friendly. My time in this gym has been very knowledgeable and fulfilling to the sport. This gym is great to come in and learn the art of jujitsu, the discipline you learn, the experience of others and a great way to keep your health in track. I invite anybody different ages, genders, sizes and endangered humans. Cobra Bjj is the way!!!!!!! OSS!!!!

This gym deserves all the stars that exist. We recently moved to Plano and we found a home at Cobra BJJ. It’s a beautiful community and we are so grateful we found it. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable probably the best out there and the people that come to the gym become like family. If you are looking for a place to learn martial arts and to have a supportive community, look no more: Cobra BJJ is the place. I love all the coaches!!!

been training here for around a year now. Instructors are very knowledgeable and qualified and they give attention to every individual equally. Good amount of equipment and mats are cleaned after every session. Would Highly recommend trying out this place!

Cobra BJJ is a family run business that will immediately make you feel part of the team. Professor Eddie Ricardo has years of experience and knowledge that’s hard to duplicate. The gym is full of humble upper belts, who are willing to roll with anyone and share their knowledge. It’s a safe and challenging place to train that I highly recommend for all skill levels.

I've been training here for over 7 years and started completely out of shape and with no martial arts or grappling background. This is a great place to foster anyone coming off the couch or those coming from other gyms.The coaches are all accomplished and great at teaching to whatever level you're at. The culture in the gym fosters growth and safety. This is especially true of the kids classes and camps.I'd recommend everyone trying BJJ, but can't say enough good things about Cobra and the people teaching and training here!

My daughter (9) and I (40) have trained here for almost 2 years and have nothing but good things to say. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and understanding. The gym has a high level of skill (multiple world champs) while also accommodating to hobbyists like me. If you are looking for quality training with an awesome culture, this is it.
