I can't believe that she took more time on my hair than someone that I used to pay twice as much to and I have very short hair. She was so meticulous, it's perfect. I received several compliments in 1 day. I recommend her highly and she is seems genuinely kind. Also this place is awesome, very friendly. And if you're patriotic, like I am, it's the place to go, even all the customers were also friendly.“

It's a low-key, unpretentious environment, but the end result is what matters. I have always used Aida. She's very conversational, and she gives this old guy with thinning hair a super cut every time. She works very hard to please and is super-attentive to my requests. I always walk out looking awesome . . . well, as much so as possible. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!“

“I can't believe it's taken me ten years to find this place. Old style barber shop with a very warm country style. $25. Very reasonable. I asked an older gentleman sitting there, waiting as well., who is good with short hair, he told me Jason, so I waited for Jason.
While waiting, I heard lots of talk about the bible and christianity and it made me feel very comfortable. Great conversation and an awesome hair cut. I will be back.“

“I have been here four times and within had three different barbers here: Kevin today for the first time, NOLA John, and other John. Each has done an excellent job with my thin hair despite me not being able to describe the look I am going for very well and letting my hair grow too long for an easy trim. They worked with me and figured it out along way (most of the time I say “you probably know best”).

The atmosphere is warm with sincere joy, graffiti inspired walls, and friendly smack talk. The price is more than right for what they do. This is where I will be getting my cuts so long as I am in the area, and my wife always approves of the result.“

“I moved into the area about 3.5 years ago from Spring and have been looking for a place to get a good haircut. I’m very particular about my cuts… need a high fade and a straight blade razor every two weeks. I found my new place here at Super Mak.

All the barbers (men and women) are Hispanic. Some speak English and some don’t. But that’s ok…they all help each other out and I’ve used four of them. All have done a great job. The owner/manager is usually on site. His name is Marco and he’s very friendly. They do cash, Venmo and Zelle. Easy relaxing atmosphere…There’s usually a card game in play at the front of shop. Great place. Check it out.“
