About Great Hills Eye Care
Great Hills Eye Care is a top choice in Pflugerville for quality and affordable eye care. The business offers a range of services, including eyeglass prescriptions, contact lens options, and Lasik consultations. Patients appreciate the friendly and professional staff, as well as the knowledgeable optometrists who provide thorough evaluations. The team is dedicated to addressing each patient’s vision and eye health needs using advanced technology for efficient eye exams. Many reviews highlight the pleasant front office staff and the thoroughness of the doctors, who take the time to answer questions. Patients note that the staff is kind and that appointments are quick and efficient, often serving patients from the surrounding areas in Texas. However, some mention that Dr. Truong speaks quickly, making it hard to catch all details, and that eye imaging is mandatory regardless of insurance coverage. Contact lenses typically cost around $50-60, even if only a prescription is needed. The office is conveniently located inside the Costco building at Kelley Lane and I-130, with the latest testing equipment. Overall, patients leave satisfied with the professional and gentle care received during their visits.
The doctor is saw, Dr. Marcia Truong, was very thorough in her assessment. She is definitely very knowledgeable and kind. The intake process by the front office staff was easy to navigate and they were very pleasant. I have come to this office for my eye care needs for many years, so that should tell you something.
Dr Isabel Ruiz was very attentive and patient...great service. The receptionist very attentive and calm. This is my second year and it was a great experience going here. They even accept my insurance.
Everyone was kind here. I was in and out very quickly, true to form. Overall, i enjoyed my experience. The only real negative was that even tho she was mostly polite, Dr Truong spoke so quickly I could barely understand what she was saying. I didn't feel comfortable asking her to slow down so i may have missed some things, but i think everything went okay.
They do mandatory eyeball imaging regardless of whether you need it or your ins covers it. Contacts cost $50-60 dollars even if you just want a prescription, no lenses. Good things to know before making an appointment.
