I checked in at 2:40 a nurse came no more than 5 minutes later to give my kids Motrin. A couple of minutes go by and same nurse takes my kids vitals. When we go in the room we were told 40 minutes is our wait time. I was fine with it. An hour went by, I go use the restroom and I see the doctor chit chatting just standing having a conversation. I see another patient be seen before me after that patient came after me , didn’t think nothing of it but then I noticed she was discharged. I walk back to the room, I let another 10 minutes go by and nothing, no one goes to check or at least update me. So I left and went down the street. We recently took our daughter to Texas Children’s Urgent Care, and I just wanted to express how grateful we are for the care we received from Carrie and April. From the moment they walked into the room, they treated us with so much kindness, patience, and compassion.
As parents, my wife and I were honestly very nervous about our daughter needing injections because we know how painful and scary that experience can be. But Carrie and April made the entire process feel so smooth, calm, and reassuring. TCH staff was great my only complaint is if your an urgent care you should have access to lab draws and labs! We have go to Main campus we’re the wait was ridiculous
